Former prime minister Jean Chretien is being referred to as out over his current feedback on residential faculties, after stating he was not conscious of any abuses occurring in these establishments whereas he was minister of then-Indian affairs. Within the CTV interview, Chretien was requested whether or not he takes some duty or would apologize for his position in Canada's residential faculty legacy. 'We weren't knowledgeable of any abuse at the moment,' he stated.
